Corals are now among the most wanted living beings for decoration of home marine aquariums. It took many decades for scholars and hobbyists to understand and develop the necessary conditions to grow healthy corals in captivity, but we are now well into the “Coral Era”of the reef keeping hobby. Many species can now be kept even by relatively beginner aquarists, as long as a minimal amount of study time is invested.

Unlike our largest competitor, our corals are grown under 100% artificial lighting and in synthetic seawater. Our corals are grown in conditions most closely resembling a hobbyist’s tank. Most of the corals advertised by our competitors as “cultured” corals are in fact grown in large open “farms” on the ocean floor … and yes, with all the unknown pests and algae.
