As part of the local community, Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC extends help to those individuals who have aquariums (and sometimes other pet related items) which are, in most cases, still in great condition and need a good home.
The “Consignment” section of our website is a simple place for both sellers and buyers to find exceptional deals on products which still have many more years of use. The seller should contact Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC to make arrangements to pick up the consignment item(s) which he or she would like to offer for sale. The buyer, seeking second-hand, good quality merchandise or equipment, can browse through these consignment items which may be of benefit.
Selling your stuff second-hand is a great way to clear out your house and pocket some extra cash. Maybe you are upgrading to a new aquarium or moving to a new location, in any event we are here to help. Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC keeps a percentage of the sale and will issue a check to the seller at the end of the month for the difference.
For the longest time, we had a misunderstanding around second-hand shops. We were also completely unaware that online marketplaces such as CraigsList, Amazon, and eBay are also considered second-hand shops.
Consignment Merchandise
• Items to be placed on our consignment page are accepted almost every business day.
• All items must be in clean and ready to consign condition upon us arriving to pick up. No tears, leaks, holes, major scratches, smell of smoke or any odors. Be certain your items are ready to sell immediately as Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC does not place any items in storage. Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC does not clean or prepare consignor items. Any items containing the list above will be disposed of and will not be consigned nor returned.
• Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC has set closed days. Please refer to our hours of operation. We all like to enjoy all major Holidays, team trainings and vacations. In the event of bad weather or a crazy virus impacting our staff, we will have limited business hours. Please be certain to check our website, then call, email or chat with us to discuss your consignment situation.
• Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC *DOES NOT* accept any lingerie, pajamas, mature adult items, wedding dresses, furs, food, or drinks. We basically accept only items for pets.
• Any consignment items which are found to be on any recall by manufacturer will immediately be placed in the trash, will not be donated, and will not be sold by Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC.
• Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Cultured Aquatic Life, LLC DOES NOT return items once consigned.
